Applying the concepts of inertia, what do you think will happen to the passengers sitting in a moving bus when it suddenly stops or put on brake
C. the passenger will keep moving ahead/forwardThe passenger will tend to lean forward as the driver suddenly steps on the brake. The motion of the passenger will continue going forward when there is no net force that it why it tends to move forward.
Law of Inertia states that:An object at rest will remain at rest unless acted upon by a net force. Net force is an unbalanced force which causes the object at rest to move. An object in motion will remain in motion unless acted upon by a net force. Net force or unbalanced force causes the object to stop moving.Inertia depends on the mass of an object. The higher the mass the higher the inertia. Whereas momentum depends on mass time the velocity of an object.
