what I mean is that they cannot agree on the other's belief
As a young Filipino, I find it challenging.
While communication became faster, easier and affordable especially when you're communicating overseas, it gives people a false sense of connection. With data privacy problems rampant, problems may arise if the usage of these technologies remain unchecked.
Moreover, even though we're technically closer to one another because of technological innovations, we tend to forge relationships online rather than meeting and interacting in person. It's harder for people to sit into a single room and talk naturally with one another, as they are glued to their gadgets and cellphones.
It also has effects on perception of things. Granted that everything is within your reach from a flick of your finger, we are more unfocused than ever. Our attention span is shorter, and we're more invested with our online personas rather our own individualities.
